Dr. Patrick Harty is a nationally recognized interventional radiologist with nearly two decades of expertise in innovative outpatient prostate cancer care. After his tenure as the Chief of Interventional Radiology for one of California's largest medical groups, Dr. Harty returned to Omaha to implement his "patient-first" outpatient model at the MIC Medical Imaging Consultants.
A graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine, Dr. Harty’s career has been marked by his deep understanding of the vascular system. He is a leading expert in precision-guided embolization techniques initially honed in complex arterial diseases, now adeptly applied to advance non-surgical treatments for prostate cancer, offering patients a strategic alternative to traditional methods.
Dr. Harty’s professional philosophy is founded on innovation and education; he teaches vascular techniques at both local and national levels. At MIC, he utilizes this knowledge to provide Omaha patients with an office-based, discreet procedure that avoids the need for general anesthesia or the extended recovery period associated with hospital-based prostate cancer treatments.
