Dr. Omar Said

Dr. Omar Said is a fellowship-trained, double board-certified Interventional Pain Physician and Anesthesiologist committed to delivering patient-centered care with an emphasis on enhancing quality of life. After nearly a decade of practice in Chicago, he established his own clinic with the aim of providing a more personalized, supportive healthcare experience focused on communication, comfort, and collaboration.

In the field of prostate cancer and men's health, Dr. Said takes a significant role in managing cancer-related pain and treatment side effects. His proficiency in advanced pain management techniques enables him to create individualized care plans that help patients maintain function, reduce discomfort, and improve overall well-being throughout the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery phases.

Dr. Said completed his anesthesia residency at Rush University Medical Center, where he received multiple accolades for clinical excellence, academic accomplishment, and humanism. Subsequently, he pursued advanced fellowship training in interventional pain management at the Cleveland Clinic, where he was recognized as the most outstanding fellow. He has also been honored as Physician of the Year by his peers and nursing staff, reflecting his dedication to compassionate, high-quality care.

His approach emphasizes honesty, collaboration, and precision — working closely with patients and multidisciplinary care teams to identify the source of pain and develop effective, customized treatment strategies. Dr. Said understands that while not all pain can be eliminated, the right approach can significantly improve a patient’s quality of life.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending Chicago festivals, staying active through sports, and enjoying time outdoors with his dog.
