Dr. Michael A. Savin is a board-certified interventional radiologist with decades of experience specializing in minimally invasive, image-guided treatments. Since 1996, he has focused on treating complex conditions—including uterine fibroids, enlarged prostate (BPH), and vascular disorders—using advanced techniques designed to reduce recovery time and avoid traditional surgery.

Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Savin earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he worked on the design of medical devices for interventional radiologists. He later received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his radiology residency at the University of Washington, followed by fellowship training in interventional radiology at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Savin has extensive experience in minimally invasive cancer treatments, including Y-90 radioembolization, as well as vascular procedures such as angioplasty and stent placement. He has served as an interventional radiologist at Beaumont Royal Oak and as an Associate Professor of Radiology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

Board certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology, Dr. Savin is widely recognized for his clinical expertise and contributions to the field.
