Dr. Jafar Golzarian is a globally recognized pioneer and key opinion leader in the field of Interventional Radiology. With more than 25 years of experience, he has committed his career to advancing minimally invasive, image-guided therapies that offer effective alternatives to conventional surgery.

A Legacy of Innovation
Dr. Golzarian is widely recognized for introducing several groundbreaking procedures within the medical community:

Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE): He was the first physician in the United States to perform this groundbreaking, non-surgical treatment for enlarged prostate (BPH).

Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE): As an early adopter and clinical expert, he played a pivotal role in establishing UFE as a gold-standard, uterus-sparing treatment for women with fibroids.

Global Leadership: He established and serves as the course director of the Global Embolization Symposium and Technologies (GEST), a leading international conference for interventional radiology education and innovation.
