Craig S Seidman M.D.

Dr. Seidman is a board-certified surgeon in both general and vascular surgery, with extensive expertise in advanced, minimally invasive procedures related to prostate cancer. Throughout his career, he has introduced innovative technologies to his region, including catheter-based and image-guided treatments that enhance outcomes while decreasing the need for traditional surgery.

In the treatment of prostate cancer, Dr. Seidman applies his vascular expertise to support modern, non-surgical approaches. These targeted, minimally invasive techniques focus on reducing blood flow to affected areas, aiding in symptom relief while minimizing recovery time and discomfort.

Dr. Seidman serves as Medical Director of the Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute and is the former Chief of Staff at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of various professional organizations, including the Society for Vascular Surgery.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. His advanced fellowship training includes vascular surgery at Boston University, trauma surgery at the University of Cape Town, and endovascular surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
