Chuck McGlade, MD

Dr. McGlade brings years of extensive experience in a wide range of interventional procedures for patients with prostate cancer, renal artery disease, end stage renal disease, venous disease including acute and chronic thrombosis as well as varicose veins, and others. State of the art embolization techniques are beneficial for men with prostate enlargement and women with uterine fibroids.

Background Dr. Chuck McGlade is a practicing interventional radiologist who specializes in minimally invasive surgical procedures. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University, where he was one of the top ten students in his class, earning Phi Beta Kappa honors in his junior year. He completed his medical education at Cornell University Medical College, where his top ten class ranking led to his induction into Alpha Omega Alpha. His further medical training was at UCLA, where he served as Chief Resident and completed an IR fellowship.

Dr. McGlade takes pride in fostering strong relationships with both patients and staff, with a focus on providing a patient-centered medical practice.

Dr. McGlade has received numerous awards and has authored multiple medical publications. He has lived in Oregon for 30 years, introducing new techniques and innovations at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Sacred Heart Riverbend, and McKenzie Willamette Medical Center. Most recently, he has worked at Mercy Medical Center, establishing a comprehensive interventional program as the vascular specialist for Douglas County.
