Andrew Vartanian

Dr. S. Andrew Vartanian is the Medical Director of PrecisionIR and a board-certified physician specializing in vascular and interventional radiology. With advanced subspecialty training in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, Dr. Vartanian focuses on treating a wide range of conditions—including uterine fibroids, enlarged prostate (BPH), and other vascular disorders—without the need for traditional surgery.

He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his internship, residency, and fellowship training at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where he specialized in vascular and interventional radiology.

Dr. Vartanian is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, with a Certification of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. In addition to his clinical work, he has served as an Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Molecular Imaging at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, contributing to the education and training of future physicians.

Throughout his career, Dr. Vartanian has authored and co-authored numerous publications in interventional radiology and is a recognized speaker at both national and international conferences. His work focuses on advancing minimally invasive techniques that improve patient outcomes while reducing recovery time and procedural risk.
